| Btbam= Being Drunk At A Circus
And this is no insult, its just how to sum up my experience when listening to their music. Its like I get drunk enough to not remember very much, and then the friends approach, dying to go to the carnival. I go, blow my money, get motion sickness from the rides, get a headache from the lights, and remember very little of what actually happened. Also, like being drunk, I remember only 10-15 minute fragments before my body auto adjusts to the current attraction. Doesn't sound like I'd want to do that again, but given the opportunity again, i'm not sure I would resist. Clowns and greasy funnel cake are icing on cake. Favorite to least favorite BTBAM albums. 03.30.11 | I do agree that Swim to the Moon is not one of BTBAM's better songs. It's definitely my least favorite on TGM. But all their other long songs I really enjoy. I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying some "wankery", but yes, Swim to the Moon takes it a bit far. | captaincrunch11

03.30.11 | I like The Great Misdirect quite a bit actually, probably a 4/5 for me, its just looking at the rest of their work it doesn't quite seem to be their strongest. They have some good stuff so I expect alot out of them. With my analogy, of course there are elephants and all. Thats what BTBAM is all about. When I complete an album so much has gone on that I tend to forget alot of the passages and remember it as a whole. Hence the drunk feeling | wacknizzle
04.03.12 | I don't really have much trouble remembering BTBAM songs but then again i've listened to each one countless times. Trying to remember how to play a whole song by them is pretty tough, I've never been able to play all of White Walls at once but then again I don't really learn how to play songs much at all. |
