I mean Bruce Wayne was inspired to be Batman cause some douche killed his parents, I can be inspired to be a better person by someone else treating another person cruelly. You can't link inspiration and quality. Secondly, their music I find bland and basic and in the realm of music, while technicallity doesn't always mean greatness and something is good, the better someone is at an instrument, the more technical and creative they can be with it. Finally, the vocals are all right but way to monotone and not distinct enough for me. Their albums aren't "incredibly" well written, they follow the basic metalcore format and really don't flow song to song as an album, more or less a collection of songs. If you like them, good for you, I find them to be trash in comparison to many other artists. |
