08.21.10 | Sometimes, when I start a review, it's difficult to find a clear direction I'm trying to address (even if I've written an adequate introduction). I find it the same with listening to albums. Sometimes it'll click immediately with me. Sometimes it'll take a few listens (a few writing attempts, in this case) to get it right. Sometimes I'll have to walk away from the album for a week or two for it to all become clear. Anything that impedes my writing usually amounts to me not being completely confident in what I'm saying. |

The intro's for you are fine because they're pretty much a small bio on the artist, which are always easy to write. But if you're "blocking" when it comes time to describe the actual songs - well, you've done the same thing 95 times now. No wonder you're running out of different ways to say the same thing.
