Amazing Hardcore, Metalcore And Screamo

3 amazing albums that come with the highest recommendations
1Birthplace
Ameliorate

Hailing from Japan, Birthplace are an amazing metalcore band that definitely focuses moreso on the hardcore aspect of their music. Ameliorate perfectly demonstrates this; featuring monstrous riffs, an amazing mid-ranged rasp and a sparse yet great sense of melody, Birthplace is an impressive band that is definitely worth looking into.
2Das Plague
Das Plague

Awesome screamo from Spain, Das Plague features brilliant post-rock inspired build-ups and crescendos, beautiful and upbeat sections and a dual vocal approach that provides awesome high pitched wails and powerful, throaty growls that are usually associated with crust punk. Overall this album is a very passionate and absorbing affair and comes highly recommended.
3Rational Animals
Bock Rock Parade

One of my favorite albums from this year, Bock Rock Parade is daring portrayal of hardcore that doesn't play by the rules. Released on the growing Katorga Works (a label that is quickly becoming a premiere name in hardcore), Rational Animals maintain a strong hardcore base to their songs while also delving into more experimental territory. Tossing in hard rock inspired licks, a great sense of balance between aggression and melody, and an overall innovative nature that sets them apart from the pack, Bock Rock Parade is a one of kind album that absolutely needs to be heard.
