12.01.09 | Just heard 2 today due to Crysis' review, heard 3 due to Crimson's review, dodged the hell out of 4 due to crazy hype but eventually came to love it. 5 was a rec from Balls, 6 took me that same number of listens for it to click. All the rest are from various reviews here. 9 is somewhat out of place genre-wise but it's really good regardless. |

12.01.09 | They're all melodic death, with Hacksaw venturing towards progressive metal. In Vain is a classic imo. Soul Embraced is a bit of a guilty pleasure, but they're definitely enjoyable at least. |

12.02.09 | Bungy, to be honest I like "The Blue" more than "Classica" but they're both great. Silence, I'll check that out, sounds intriguing. Jingle, Neurosis sounds extremely familiar and I have that Halmstad album by Shining, need to give it another listen. And feav, will check out Arsis, I had a very hard time getting into gorod. Don't remember why. |
