Sinternet 02.26.18	core users have got older of course, and there are plenty of new users who seem to be highschool age or something, but they tend to be in their own little circles. I will say though that there are more older users that have just joined this site/only started becoming active in the last couple of years though which could also influence this, as well as some users who used to be active and have recently started being active again. Part of it though could also be that as the interent expands forums such as these are a lot less relevant and other models have popped up - things like reddit where you can upvote/downvote posts and there's a community for everything. This style of forum is rather archaic these days(although I must say I prefer this.)

Typically, when I read a review, I've already listened to the album and come to my own conclusion. It's a big factor in not discussing music with what friends I have left these days.

I can see the merit, skill, and talent in some albums even if they're not my cup of tea... case in point, Vektor. the musicianship is insane, even if I'm not a big fan of thrash, and I despise the vox. But I still have it at a 4, because I appreciate it, even if I don't return to it that much.
