04.09.13 | If you don't listen to 1-5 you're missing out. |
JamieTwort
04.09.13 | Never got into this band for some reason. I heard Out of the Silent Planet a long time ago and seem to remember quite enjoying it. I need to check out some of their others, I'm guessing 1 would be the best place to start. |
SitarHero
04.09.13 | 1 and 2 are both classics. Can't go wrong with either. |
InbredJed
05.23.13 | gotta get, never heard |

KILL
12.12.13 | i dont even get why dogman is rated that high its great but |
SitarHero
12.12.13 | 1 and 2 are tied for me. So the order doesn't really matter. |
Parallels
12.12.13 | dude wtf gretchen is the best hands down, then silent planet. theres no contest |
Parallels
12.12.13 | yeah what KILL said |
SitarHero
12.12.13 | Silent Planet? Maybe for its time, but it hasn't aged well. Gretchen and Dogman are both perfect, so it's hard to pick. |
Parallels
12.12.13 | aged? lol |
SitarHero
12.12.13 | Production on Silent Planet and Faith Hope Love always felt very '80s to me. |
Parallels
12.12.13 | wtf dude it sounds great |
SitarHero
12.12.13 | Good, yes. Great, I dunno. Only Dogman, Gretchen and s/t are unequivocally great as far as I'm concerned. |
KILL
12.12.13 | 80s production ruled so yea agreed |
DrHouseSchuldiner
12.12.13 | 2 is 1 yea |
Parallels
12.12.13 | dogman is faux wannabe grunge |
Davil667
12.12.13 | It fills my heart with joy to see a list of this amazing band. Thx! 1, 6 and 7 are among my all time favorites. |
SitarHero
12.13.13 | @Parallels, be that as it may, Jeff Ament claimed KX invented grunge. So there. |
Parallels
12.13.13 | lol yeah back in 1988 with Out of the Silent Planet when grunge wasnt a thing. Dogman was 1993, years after Nirvana, Pearl Jam and just about every group had hit it big. |
SitarHero
12.13.13 | That's beside the point. Album might be post-grungy, but it rules. There's not a weak track on it, except for Go To Hell. |
Parallels
12.13.13 | No, it's right on the point. This album is not post-grunge either, since it directly fits in with the time period and the sound.
And now that I think about it, you're the guy who thought Shot of Love was the best track off of Out of the Silent Planet. lol Opinions are opinions, but still... lol |
SitarHero
12.13.13 | Is it on the point? KX releases an heavy album in the grunge era and that makes them faux grunge? Opinions are opinions, but still... lol |
SitarHero
12.13.13 | it* not them. |
mandan
12.13.13 | I'd love to jam some King's X eventually.
|
SitarHero
12.13.13 | No time like the present Danny |
