|Siqq Breakdowns And Breakdown Like Things That Are Also Siqq|
No metalcore, none of that pussy stuff. Breakdowns in unlikely places.
Right at 1:30 the song breaks down into a brutal slug fest that lasts for nearly a minute. Simplicity is the key here and simplicity is something Asphyx is good at.
At 2:55 the song explodes into a series of jagged splinters that leads into a vicious ground-pounding breakdown. Pure win.
3:32- JUN JUN (cue gravelly bass guitar)
Caught in the Fire
As if the song wasn't already heavy enough at 3:26 the band takes a moment to have a crushing breakdown with a woman shrieking in the background. Good brutal stuff right there.

Liar in the Glass
Couldn't help myself. I saw a video live where a guest vocalist showed up and helped Brandon finish the song with his ear-piercing shrieks. It was an epic finish to say the least.
Retrieving My Carcass
The breakdown so brutal and awesome they had to do it twice. Once at 2:12 and again at 3:35. My favorite breakdown of all time.
Black metal breakdowns are probably one of the most awesome things because who the hell would expect a breakdown in black metal? Starts at 3:48
|8||Hail of Bullets|
This was probably the third death metal song to ever make it to my iPod and at the time I was definitely not ready for it. At 2:35 the song rips into a crunching breakdown with a special (and insanely brutal) guest performance from Dan Swano. Still mind-blowing, even to this day.
Everyone laughs in the beginning when they here the random screaming and then wham, they get hit in the face with a jillion tons of rattling bass and lead heavy guitar.
|10||I Am Ghost|
Though the breakdown itself is rather uninspiring, the gang shouts make it fun to listen to. Starts at 1:19.
It was either this song or Rusted but I think that in general July is a lot heavier. The breakdown starts at around 2:50 with a luscious, meaty guitar tone and some vicious chugs.
Seeing as how Pig Destroyer likes to fool around with at ton of different musical styles, it's not suprising that they would have a breakdown somewhere. It's also not suprising that it would be brutal as fuck. Starts at 0:48.

4:09 - LET'S FUCKING GO!!!!!
