Tyler.
09.09.14 | I just jam some instrumental rock/math rock albums. So that way I'm not listening to words and it usually makes reading easier. |

09.09.14 | how can u study while listening to music? I have a hard time without it |
robertsona
09.09.14 | you mean with it? i generally have a hard time, especially with anything vocal. if the music has words i understand i definitely can't study to it; don't know how people do that shit. but ambient or (sometimes for me this -really- works) ambient techno/dub stuff with a subtle beat can get me into a rhythm. and also it just makes studying suck less, very important |

09.09.14 | Oh. I should give that a try sometime |

09.09.14 | scott you should try basic channel - bcd, exactly the kind of thing i'm talking about. usually "rhythm" isn't what i'd think
of as a component of good study music but an ambient rhythmic thing can sort of subconsciously "push" me forward
while not being distracting at all. i mean i dont know your musical inclinations so you might find it bad, but yeah. ditto the
jan jelinek album, jazz-loop-finding-records, which i'm loving in general lately |

09.09.14 | Awesome stuff. I also love to jam Hammock. Agreed with what you said about dub/ambient techno. It gets me
into a grove. |

09.09.14 | I listen to animals as leaders or stuff in another language so the lyrics don't distract me |
SgtPepper
09.09.14 | i'm going to give this playlist a try. I know/listen a few of the artists here, and the one's im unfamiliar with sound interesting.
my study music as of now has mainly consisted of: truant/rough sleeper, donuts, 3 ragas, music has the right to children, yestrdays quintet albums, kind of blue/miles ahead, and hidden orchestra. basically stuff that's relatively instrumental and relatively 'tamed' (with the exceptions of donuts of course) |
