Best Of The Year

I've had a pretty wierd year, i think my top albums of the year pretty much rreflect that, i tried rrto make it easier for everyone so i tried to bundle them rinto stuff that sounds somewhat alike if rranyone wants to check them out!
1 The Story So Far
What You Don't See

Pretty much pulled me through a really hard time on my life, the lyrics carry a lot of
meaning for me now and its still so much fun to jam to The Glass (which might be
the best song they'll ever made after Rally Cap)
2The Wonder Years
The Greatest Generation

"Jesus Christ, Did I Fucked up?" sums up my life haha
3Turnover
Magnolia

found this little bundle of joy while going through Run For Cover's roaster, hella fun
4 Balance and Composure
The Things We Think We're Missing

while somewhat off in some areas this is a well put together album and expands on
the sound of BAC
5Polar Bear Club
Death Chorus

while the voice and musicianship have changed a lot since "Sometimes Things Just
Dissapear" you cannot not jam hard to this, especialy to Blood Baloon.
6My Bloody Valentine
M B V

New You, enough said
7Chvrches
The Bones of What You Believe

catchy hooks withs spiteful lyrics, Lorde, take note.
8Haim
Days Are Gone

Dem Sisters
9Thao with The Get Down Stay Down
We The Common

a more ecclectic album, hard to pin point, listen to City to get a nice taste of this
album
10AFI
Burials

Not quite the Sing the Sorrow pt II that they sold us to be but still it expands a lot
on the sound they developed over Crash Love.
11Grouper
The Man Who Died In His Boat

Liz Harris is, for lack of a better word, pretty sad
12Elvis Depressedly
Holo Pleasures

lo-fi emo for kids with soft hearts
13Giles Corey
Hinterkaifeck

the story behind the actual Hinterkaifeck makes this so much more gloomy and
spooky, such a nice album
14Chelsea Wolfe
Pain is Beauty

enough has been said about this, just get it
15Sed Non Satiata
Mappo

my first rush with SNS, such a good album
16Liferuiner
Future Revisionists

from jun jun junz to defeater worship with a tinge of metalcore in there, its actually
way better than it sounds
17Doomriders
Grand Blood

amongst 2013 biggest dissapointments where MLIW'S Latest, good thing this came
back to save my faith on Deathwish inc.
18Deafheaven
Sunbather

RAH RAH RAH "queue pretty sunny arpegios" "insert blast beats drowned out in
reverb" RAH RAH RAHHHHH
19Celeste
Animale(s)

your daily dose of Headache
20 Harm's Way
Blinded

The intro alone is worth listening to this.
