Caught the Dead Throne Tour in Raleigh last night and it was fucking wild. Here's a little rsummary of each set. | | 1 | | Oh, Sleeper
Children of Fire
Oh Sleeper was the opening act, and started things off on a great note. Micah was on point with some
brutal screams and overall stage performance. Shane raped on the guitar and in fact at one point did like
a kneeling crowd surf thing during The Finisher where it looked like he was levatating. And on a side note

Fake History
Before I went to this show I told everyone I was going with that my one goal was to get on stage with
Jason and I fucking did it. Absolutely surreal. I crowd surfed right towards Jason who ripped me up on
stage from the security guards (who were being kinda dicks) and I pranced around on stage before doing
a full on stage dive. I was one of two audience members to get on stage all night. Fucking magical. And
as for the band, they were the most charismatic and energetic act of the night as I predicted. Love this

Ex Lives
I hadn't given this band a full listen before seeing them live but they were brutal as fuck. I have so many
bruises from being in the pit with these guys on stage from people crowd surfing and just getting rowdy.

Dead Throne
Alright, so I had smoked a bowl and three joints up to this point and been beat to hell in the pit with
absolutely no energy. I literally starts falling asleep while I was standing up while they were fixing
equipment for TDWP. So I was like fuck it and went home, its over an hour drive so I think was justified
in doing so. Not the biggest Prada fan either so watevs. | |
