I re-read all the stuff I just put up there and it's pretty muddy, but yeah. The point gets across. Hostile in the sense that it's personal, not personable sorry. "I blame newer users, although it isn't their fault." It's not entirely their fault, but I still sorta blame em for all the drama and rage going on right now. Bottom line, I don't like the vibes here. It feels like when you're in a relationship that's about to end. That tense feeling right before shit hits the fan.

thediamondcanopy 07.30.10	And the site has become more about picking apart grammar and finding fault than the actual music. I think we're turning away from the core completely. Music is the greatest common factor, but we're putting it on the back burner.
Romulus 07.30.10	People also have to realize that when they criticize new users it's not just the people who joined a week ago, it's the people who've joined within the last year or so. I'm relatively new myself. I remember my first list on Sputnik was terrible, but I got so much helpful advice/recs that I stuck around and found better stuff. If I posted that list as a new user today I'd get absolutely trashed. I've actually been meaning to make an alt for it to see if I'm right. Personally it doesn't really bother me, but it's something I've noticed.

So far i've only met and interacted with intelligent and really cool people. Of course, i've seen much of what this list is aimed at, but declined to have a part in it. But I'm all about people around the world communicating, so I personally enjoy it very much to see this kind of stuff.
