8 and 5 were on it I'm pretty sure? 6 and 7 are great but aren't the best of either band. 4 on the other hand, should be on there.
I'm pretty sure most of these bands were on the list but with a different song.
8 and 5 were on it
My bad it was tough trying to keep 500 songs in my mind. ha ha We'll switch them with House of cards - radiohead and Wet Hair - Japandroids
I still think they are going to fuck up the top 10 albums of the decade. The top 151 isn't too bad though.
196. William Basinski
The Disentegration Loops
that should be higher in my opinion.
Yeah, I was surprised to at least see it on there.
There are some albums on there that don't belong, but most of it works.
Good example: Four Tet's - Rounds
Pause would of been a much better choice.
Others I disagree with:
LCD Soundsystem (his debut), really, really boring second half.
M83 - Saturdays=Youth, this is higher then Dead Cities, Red Seas, and Lost Ghosts? Is that a joke?
Air - Talkie Walki, didn't really think this deserves to be on the list, its great no doubt, but top 200? Moon Safari was superior in every way, but that was made 6 years earlier unfortunately.
Ghostface Killah - The Pretty Toney Album, another great effort, but Fishscale was better, same with More Fish, maybe we'll see them later, but I didn't think this should of been on here.
I was surprised to see Jim O'Rourke's Insignificance, really underrated and unknown album. Its exceptional stuff, glad to see on there.
Also Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein, nice man, nice.
Man you can't expect Pitchfork to make a good list.
It's a pretty good list so far. Kid A will be number one. My guess is The Sound of Silver, an Outkast album (Stankonia?), MPP, and Turn on the Bright Lights will round out the top 5.
Taylor Swift converted this list to nonsense.
