This band never disappoints. This album is definitely different for them. Vocal melodies and drums seem to be the focus here but with each listen I’m loving it more.

Hoping this one grows on me more but it’s still decent. Paradise Gallows is where it’s at.
Needs more melody! Too much low end. The singles are sick though.

04.30.19 | Definitely happy to talk about it, it really bothers me tbh. Red is the only good sounding Baroness full length (don't really remember Y+G) but Blue and Purple are both hindered by their production, most notably Purple. The production on that record is so bad I don't ever want to listen to it. It sounds like they might be going the same route with the new one, and I really doubt they'll "clean it up" before they release it. For a band as amazing as they are, it's a shame their records sound so terrible. | Hawks
