AngelofDeath 05.03.11	Yeah, they finally made a Batman game that was actually good. Will probably never happen for Superman. Superman 64 may be one of the worst games ever made. Beat Portal 2 Saturday. My advice to everyone: go buy it right away. Amazing.
SymbolicActs 05.03.11	Was thinking about acquiring that, though I never managed to beat the first Portal myself, though some of my friends played it all the time. Can't comment on the Superman game as I never played it, though I doubt I want to. Speaking of superhero games, I used to play the shit out of the Ps1 Spider-Man.
AngelofDeath 05.03.11	I was initially skeptical about it being worth its $60 price tag, but it's about three times as long as the original and the dialogue and plot line are great.

AngelofDeath 05.03.11	First console I got was a PS1, so I had to go back and revisit the earlier stuff when I got older. One year for Christmas I got a PS1, Final Fantasy VII, and Ridge Racer. Not bad coming from parents that still have absolutely no concept of gaming. But since then, I've played almost every noteworthy game ever made. At some point I'd like to get the book "1001 Video Games to Play Before You Die".

AngelofDeath 05.03.11	Yeah, a lot of people I know my age got an SNES first. I played a little SNES with friends early on, but the PS1 was my real introduction into gaming. I also got a Genesis shortly after the PlayStation and played a lot of Sonic, Golden Axe, Shinobi, etc.

acorncheese 05.03.11	I'm pretty much exactly as old as SymbolicActs. My first console was NES when I was around 2/3. Moved on to Genesis when I was like 5/6. Then got N64 in like '98. Here's my console progression: NES>Genesis/SNES>N64>Dreamcast>PS1>PS2>XBOX>Gamecube>360>Wii>PS3
AngelofDeath 05.03.11	Actually, I take that back. It wasn't a Genesis I had. It was a Nomad. Most people nowadays probably don't even know what the fuck that is lol. It was a clunky hand-held that played Genesis games. Thing was as big as a toaster, but it kicked so much ass. Wish mine still worked; I'd sure as hell still use it. The Game Gear was awesome as well. Every Sega system is so underrated. They should've never gone under.
tkxxx7 05.03.11	I had the NES and SNES at the same time. got a Genesis and N64 later, followed by PS1, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, PC, 360. I play the ps3/wii at friend's houses so I don't get tooooooo far behind.

AngelofDeath 05.03.11	Yeah, I knew some people that had Saturns. Excellent system. Very small catalogue of titles, though. I think their downfall may have been sort of releasing consoles between "gens". I always thought of the Dreamcast being a link in between the PS1/N64 and the PS2/GC/Xbox.
tkxxx7 05.03.11	I used to want all the Sega systems, Genesis, Saturn and CD (didn't want the handhelds for some reason). I grew up on Pokemon and Final Fantasy and shit so I like handheld RPGs more than handheld anything else

Nagrarok 05.03.11	Classic games are classic. I lol'd a few times at the reworked album titles. 1 as 1 is always a good choice, completely maxed that game out. Pokemon Silver is probably still the one I played most.

AngelofDeath 05.03.11	I think it may very well have been the first game I ever beat and was one of the first few games I ever played, so there's certainly a special nostalgia factor to it for me. Still obsessed with the game to this day lol.

AngelofDeath 05.04.11	The whole "Pikachu" thing was so easy to sidestep, it really didn't compromise the fact that all 150 Pokemon were in it and you didn't have to do any bullshit trading and the graphics were slightly better.

AngelofDeath 05.04.11	I thought the second Kingdom Hearts was better than the original. And Super Mario Galaxy was good, but it probably wouldn't even crack my top one hundred. Also, I realize I'm in the minority, but I happen to think Twilight Princess is the best Zelda title. Only slightly better than Ocarina.
Keyblade 05.04.11	I've always preferred the first Kingdom Hearts for the sole reason that it wasn't nearly as linear as the second. The second one literally played like this: fight heartless-cutscene-fight some more heartless-cutscene-boss battle-cutscene, rinse & repeat. And actually, now that I think of it, SMG shouldn't really be in my top five either. Playing it with my bro just now sort of clouded my judgement, and made me forget all about Chrono Trigger.
