2009, Albums You May Not Have Heard

I'm making this list so I seem really underground and like "whoa dude you've heard ALL those obscure albums whoa man you must be so cool whoa" in other words, I'm a huge fag.
1Kidcrash
Snacks

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee! This rules so hard, noodly math-rocky, indie-ish screamo kind of, but I mean you probably know this rules already because you've all heard Jokes right?
2Portraits Of Past
Cypress Dust Witch

Well this kind of came out of the blue. I was like "what, a Portraits of Past release? Am I seeing this right?" Well yeah, guess what? It's awesome. Nice emo/screamo stuff.
3Lewd Acts
Black Eye Blues

Hardcore act that rules by default because they're on Deathwish Records. Worth your time.
4 Fall Of Efrafa
Inl?

Post-Metal sort of stuff with a concept based around that one story about rabbits or something. Watership Down? Pretty crazy huh?
5The Armed
These Are Lights

Metalcore, except it's good metalcore. Really quite good.
6Struck By Lightning
Serpents

Sludgy metal/hardcore type act with the vocalist from Mouth of the Architect. It's cool, some bits even sound like Mastodon.
7Trapped Under Ice
Secrets Of The World

More hardcore. Also awesome.
8War Pigs
Degenerate

Named after a Black Sabbath song and playing a pretty odd form of.. metallic hardcore? I don't know. It's pretty cool stuff though.
9Weekend Nachos
Unforgivable

You've probably heard this but I'm just throwing it up there because I'm running out of more unknown stuff. Really, REALLY awesome hardcore/powerviolence stuff.
10Iron Age
The Sleeping Eye

Really thrashy hardcore. They probably write better 80s thrash riffs than most bands of the 80s.
11Heaven In Her Arms
Duplex-Coated Obstruction

Progressive screamo stuff from Japan! Yay, Japan! It's pretty interesting stuff.
12Rome
Flowers From Exile

Dark neofolk stuff. I don't really know what to say, I don't really listen to stuff like this much. It sounds good to me anyway.
13Touche Amore
...To The Beat Of A Dead Horse

Pretty cool hardcore/screamo band, features guest vocals from both the vocalist of Thursday and ex-Modern Life Is War vocalist
14Pulling Teeth
Paranoid Delusions/Paradise Illusions

I love crazy solos in my hardcore. This is awesome.
15Russian Circles
Geneva

Much, much better than the previous album. Post-rock/post-metal-ish stuff, in case you don't already know which is unlikely.
16Mutiny On The Bounty
Danger Mouth

Post-hardcore a little bit like At The Drive-In (omg, ATDI!) except with more noodly guitarwork.
17Run With The Hunted
Destroy All Calendars

Great little hardcore EP.
18Doomriders
Darkness Come Alive

Metalcore-ish. Fuck it, they don't need a deion, they're called DOOMRIDERS goddamnit.
19Age Sixteen
Open Up Finders, Please

Another neat little screamo release from this year. Worth your time.
20Converge
Axe To Fall
