Thor 05.31.09	No it's not because they have so many great albums. Get Human and Leprosy at the same time for starters, then move to anything else really. But you can probably avoid Spiritual Healing.

ConorMichaelJoseph 05.31.09	I think I started with Human but almost all of their albums are awesome except Spiritual Healing. But even that one is okay.
DjMopular 05.31.09	I'd say go for SOP, depends on what you want though. Earlier albums are more old school Death Metal, Human, and everything else that follows it is a lot different. You can't go wrong with any of it really, to be honest.

ClearTheLane 05.31.09	I've only heard Human and Symbolic so far and I clearly prefered the latter. Actually it's the best death metal album I've heard (though I've mostly heard the "classics" only).. Human is much rawer in sound..
ThusSpokeZarathustra 05.31.09	Unlike many others here I’m a huge Spiritual Healing fan, it still has an old school dm feel to it but shows the first signs of progression towards a more technical sound. If you’re looking for something more melodic and progressive Symbolic is great. I love the brutality of Scream Bloody Gore as well. That being said I don’t think there are any ‘bad’ Death albums per se.

foreverendeared 05.31.09	well, the only problem here, is there is a HUGE difference between their early and later stuff. it want just straight up death metal like None so vile in your digs, DEFINITELY get Human. It's just straight up great death metal. Now, if you want something more melodic that barely falls into the "death" metal category, but is still badass, get The Sound of Perseverance
