botb 10.20.09	setlist is lacking some older awesome stuff but honestly has most of the stuff i would have liked to see.
DiceMan 10.20.09	I saw them about a week ago.. It didn't go so hot for them. Their vocalist kind of just jumped around and growled one word into the mic. Very disappointing.

FreePizzaDay 10.20.09	I don't know why they didn't play anything pre-Jane Doe, but it's not that big of a deal. The new stuff is great, and honestly, they hit most of what I wanted to see. @musicaddiction101, they probably didn't look to good because I'm assuming you saw them in a large venue with Mastodon and Dethklok, which is all wrong. Converge is meant to be seen in a small, intimate venue with a rowdy crowd. If you have anything less than that, the experience will suffer. Luckily, Converge made a stop at Cleveland without Mastodon and DK, and it was in the Grog Shop, one of Cleveland's better venues for hardcore.

Prophet178 10.20.09	Yeah, they already said before the Mastodon tour that they will be doing a headlining after this tour is finished. They were tweeting asking people who they want to tour with them earlier haha.

FreePizzaDay 10.21.09	Venue was great. The Grog Shop is small and has a low stage, so it naturally lends itself to a hardcore atmosphere in the sense that there's no security or barricades preventing crowd interaction. The crowd was pretty good. Very rowdy and enthusiatic, and there was no head-walking, which is good because it's annoying. Apparently someone set off a firecracker, which probably could have started a fire, but whatever. All in all, the crowd was pretty good, as long as you were there to see Converge and not High on Fire or Keelhaul. It was a Converge crowd through and through and a couple of my metal buddies who were there for HoF were a bit annoyed. And Converge was awesome. I wanted to see both Conduit and The Saddest Day, but I don't think Converge is going to play those songs as often anymore.

ManicDemise 05.24.10	This set is great, but Orphaned in place of Bare My Teeth and then I'm content. Also could use moar Conduit, The Saddest Day and Color Me Blood Red.
