I think this is what people call "chillwave". Although it doesn't suck. Hopefully you can look past that label and the ridiculous name and the naked pregnant woman on the cover and listen to this because it is extremely good. Listen to "Ocean". |

This is a band with members I am acquainted with and they are really good. It's like twinkly post hardcore emo stuff. With lots of wurlitzer. Listen to "Seemed". |

Slow Dance To Soft Rock
Another band from my area. They recently got signed and have this ep out. It's just two guys, a drummer and an acoustic guitar player and they do really catchy indie pop shit. Listen to "Maps". |

Within and Without
You may know this guy. Probably. It's a lot like the first album on the list but not really as good. But it's still pretty good. Listen to "A Dedication". |

Idle Labor
This is another band that does the whole hazy 80's C86 type thing. But they are really cool. The album cover is pretty. Listen to "Scandinavian Crush". |
