Holiday Digs
France; was good. Also GCSE Results Day tomorrow! |
1 | | Tristania Ashes
Bought this in a record store over there (note: French record shops aren't very good, don't get your hopes up when entering one) over Arsis' latest album. Very good so far. |
2 | | Copeland You Are My Sunshine
God I love this album, although a few of the tracks don't really go anywhere. Aaron Marsh has to have the most melodic voice of any male. |
3 | | Blind Guardian A Night At The Opera
Album rules etc. |
4 | | Glenn Hughes First Underground Nuclear Kitchen
It's surprising how there is barely any Rock on here - only 3 of tracks really. The rest ranges from pure Funk to Soul to whatever. Great stuff. |
5 | | Dissection The Somberlain
It think this band is pretty overrated; this album and SOTLB are simply good Metal albums; nothing more, nothing less. A good listen ntl. |
6 | | Isis Panopticon
I listened to this while half asleep in the car, each song gave me a separate dream/series of visions. Damn awesome. |
7 | | Misery Signals Controller
A step ahead of all other Melodic Metalcore (KSE, ATR) out there. Production is superb (I dislike Devin Townsend as a songwriter and vocalist but damn his production is faultless) and the instrumental work is spot on. Also I like how the vocals never become monotonous despite the fact they barely vary. |
8 | | Rise Against The Sufferer And The Witness
An old dig. The bass is great and the hooks are so strong. A shame they didn't really progress from this on their latest. |
9 | | Recs? Please
That album cover makes me lol. |
10 | | Band Album
This album is great too XD |
