Four And One Half

Some favorite 4.5s of mine, I'm bored as hell so feel free to have a chat on some of these.
1Thrice
Vheissu

doesn't really live up to the sputnik fapping. The album sometimes is a little too fast pace and aggresive and doesn't soak up the awesome sections enough i.e. beginning of Of Dust And Nations. That being said theres so doubting its brilliance.
2Sonic Youth
Daydream Nation

Took a while, but I'm pretty glad I realized how terrific this is. Iconic for a reason, and might become a 5.
3 Foo Fighters
Sking And Bones

This is easily my favorite live record. The Foos mixed their boring rock side for a much more enjoyable and peaceful acoustic set. Dave Grohl really shows his great ability for killing it live.
4Gorillaz
Demon Days

funnest album ever and most instrumentally advanced album, as far as pop goes, that I've head.
5Deftones
Saturday Night Wrist

the ambience is definitely cum-worthy. Most atmospheric metal record I've head.
6Opeth
Watershed

Solid, consistent, and Opeth delivering. This was basically my first death metal record and the mix of melody on this really helped me get into the genre more.
7Faith No More
Angel Dust

If only I could rate this a 5. This is an obvious milestone in Alt. Rock and is the type of album I love, but its just a little too disjointed and not enough music to it to give it full stars.
8Nine Inch Nails
Year Zero

Fuck yourself, album pwns. NIN does best when theres a concept, and this is one where he pushes his boundaries even further. The story being told boosts the music up way more than it should.
9My Bloody Valentine
Loveless

This one also took a while to digest. The obviously unique guitar work and well crafted melodies are awesome.
10Rage Against The Machine
Evil Empire

A really under rated album. This is just about as good as self-titled.
11Incubus
S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

I grew up with newer Incubus, and although I am more connected to Light Grenades/A Crow Left Of The Murder, I can't deny this slays both of them combined.
12The Flaming Lips
Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots

Probably the best find ever. The album is so fun and the melodies are quite good.
13Pink Floyd
Animals

I have to agree with rasputin, this is their best. Dogs>any song.
