It's been a great year in music, full of new discoveries. In fact the top 3 are acts I wasn't interested in before I heard their albums released this year.

Lowborn
Because this band blew me away. I wasn't interested in them and now I'm constantly listening to their discography. With lovely melodies and inspirational lyrics, Lowborn is one of their best records along with Vital and Cities.
