04.14.11 | Yeah, I was a little let down by Dragon Age 2 as well. The gameplay was a lot more fun, though. |
AggravatedYeti
04.14.11 | ^ agreed, voice acting fucking ruled as well. But the world-consistency between the two games is appalling and they recycled maps far, far too much for a major studio game.
Also: hell yes Dev! |
DeafMetal
04.15.11 | Spring into action with new Grouper. |

Kiran
04.15.11 | i heard that architecture in helsinki album went all crazy disco?
and prefab sprout is good! |
AggravatedYeti
04.15.11 | more disco-y synths yes Kir. Their new album sounds a whole lot like Stars circa Heart.
And Rudy it was pretty funny, but I was expecting it to be a lot funnier. And there were way too many moments (jokes) that, even baked as fuck, I couldn't help but cringe at.
Bruins dropping game 1 to the Habs

AggravatedYeti
04.15.11 | lol. BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH.
We'll see you in round 2. |
AggravatedYeti
04.15.11 | and I agree I don't think the Sixers can win more than maybe a game at home. |
AggravatedYeti
04.15.11 | ur a funny guy huh? |
AggravatedYeti
04.15.11 | I do not agree at all. I've been watching a lot of Knick games this year as I firmly believe they and the sixers will be the teams to rise out of the Atlantic division after we fall (presumably after this season). They are haphazard defenders that rely far too much on the 3. Not only that, Amare as offensively potent as he is, cannot defend worth a damn when it comes to trying to stop the Celitcs. All we need to do (and have been doing all season) is spread them thin and let Rondo have a field day creating shots or passing in.
While I dont think it will be easy and the Knicks do honestly have a better shot at an upset than any other eastern underdog. The Celtics will not have too much trouble. They've functioned without a passable big man for a good portion of this season (and seasons past) and it has worked. Pierce and KG both have been playing exceptionally all season so I think you're being a bit biased. The Knicks are just too porous on the floor. The Celtics have already made a quick mess of them and will again. |

04.15.11 | also calling Delonte West a "non-viable" backup PG is retarded. He's a better player than Robinson. |
Inveigh
04.15.11 | yeah Delonte West is actually really good and is a perfect matchup for Billups/Douglas
Celtics in 6.
definitely check out the new Foo -- I haven't liked anything since Colour and Shape either, but I like the new one a lot. on a side note, I like Nine Types of Light more every time I listen to it.
the only real question about the East is... who are the Bulls going to play in the ECF? Miami or Boston??? |
Inveigh
04.15.11 | "the Knicks do honestly have a better shot at an upset than any other eastern underdog."
slightly disagree. slightly depending on whether or not you count a 5 seed beating a 4 as an upset. Because Atlanta matches up REALLY well against Orlando -- and the Magic are about one or two bad shooting nights away from an early exit.
being a Bulls fan, I sure hope so, because the Hawks are a much easier matchup for us than the Magic. Who actually kind of scare me. |
AggravatedYeti
04.16.11 | never be scared of Orlando. |
AggravatedYeti
04.16.11 | except he'll be in playing against the Knicks in game 1, quiet you. And just because you like to say he doesn't play point won't make it any less true that he's a pretty good PG. |
wabbit
04.16.11 | I really liked Dragon Age 2, almost finished my second playthrough (on nightmare...it's hard) and while it had major flaws the storytelling (if not the story itself) was almost as good as ME2 and the combat is really fun.
List rules but needs pavement. All lists from now to September need pavement. |
AggravatedYeti
04.16.11 | Pit I think you're giving him a lot less credit than deserved. Also I'd say it's arguable that in the modern game a PG/SG are becoming less and less divided. While someone like Rose or Westbrook aren't traditional PGs they have found a different way to play the position effectively. Not that Delonte is that talented, but his play-style is in the same vein.
and Rabbit I'd say you're underselling ME2 which was worlds better dude. DA2 was kind of super lazy on the part of Bioware. Don't get me wrong, combat is a lot of fun (one of the main reasons I finished it/bought it) but they phoned way too much in and it was a bit shorter than I'd have expected. |
AggravatedYeti
04.16.11 | also DA:2's ending sucks and besides Aveline a lot of your party member's side quests just end abruptly on the arc's climax with no resolution. |
CrisStyles
04.16.11 | Will be so pissed if the Knicks get past the first round. |
