Poet's Riffs

Been listening to some br00tal riffs today and just felt like listing my rfavorite 20 (basically those that just come off the top of my head) rRAWR!!!!
20Godsmack
Awake

Sick of Life-Opening bass/guitar riff. This is a "huh what?" moment. Yeah
the band is generic and writes the same stuff over and over but this is
probably their most badass song. The riffs on the entire album are crunchy
and heavy....almost too heavy to see the radio play that it did.

Kings of Metal

Hail and Kill-2:00 (chorus riff). Obviously the most metal of riffs.

The Final Frontier

Coming Home-Opening riff. Maiden's had a bunch of fantastic riffs but for
some reason the slower pace added with the melody just makes it my
favorite.

This Mortal Coil-:33. Like a more brutal and badass Maiden (if that's even
possible)
