07.04.09 | 6, 7, 8 have some heavy type beats..but the soft melodious stuff wins me.
and 10 i know is far from it but some of the songs (song for milly, crows, silver wings, lion and the wolf) have some soft feel to it. ya |

07.04.09 | I'm going to tell you this right now: what you really want almost is anything by STARFLYER 59. Foggy guitars and a low-tone voice that just blends into the music, and a lot of songs are slower paced. Try out "Dial M" (the latest) or "Talking Voice vs. Singing Voice." They should do the trick.
Other than that, it's shoegaze and soft electronica. Stuff like My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless," Slowdive's "Souvlaki," Zero 7's "Simple Things," Cool Hand Luke's "The Fire of Life," Fair's "The Best Worst-Case Scenario," and the soundtrack to "Garden State."
Good ol' Pink Floyd can work, too ;-).
By the way, on your list, the last two are epic, but you really win for having Copeland on here. Good stuff! |
