10.25.20 | The only instance I find watching other people play video games interesting is when it's crazy speed runs of games I've played. And even in those cases usually the streamers themselves are literally the antithesis of charismatic. Maybe I just haven't seen any good streamers? I dont get what the draw is supposed to be but I might be missing something.

10.25.20 | interactivity makes twitch so much better than youtube. being able to talk to the ppl you are watching and having them respond in real time brings a completely different experience. in that aspect, the top streamers who have tens of thousands of viewers at once isn't as entertaining for me. the best channels I watch tend to have maybe a couple hundred viewers at a time. also, because it's live, at lot of regular viewers are there together, so you get to know one another and form friendships in the community.
and it's not just video games, there are some incredible musicians on Twitch. two of my favourite channels that I highly recommend are JonathanOng and Lara6683. |
