| Albums I Despise
There are some really bad rock albums out there. I mean, really bad...and they are... | 1 | | Hinder Extreme Behavior
This band is the worst mistake that ever happened to rock music. Whether they try to be the edgy rockers or the love-ballad chart toppers, it's beyond me, but Extreme Behavior has to be one of the most inconsistent, messy albums of all time. | 2 | | Limp Bizkit Chocolate Starfish...
Not only does Fred Durst irritate me by just talking about him, his music is horrible. Wes Borland's great, unique guitar work is the only plus to this band, as Fred Durst's ability to say "fuck" as many times as possible is impeccably chidlish and stupid. He may be the biggest poser in all of rap/rock. | 3 | | Disturbed The Sickness
This band describes all that is wrong with Nu-Metal. The instrumental work is atrocious, completely unoriginal, and completely boring, while the lead singer's monkey-like howl gets irritating after the 20th time he belts it out. The lyrics are completely retarded and pointless, this album is just...so...bad. | 4 | | Green Day American Idiot
Green Day used to be one of my favorite bands-back in the days when they were true punk. Now, they are just some mediocre 'pop-punk' (god, I hate this genre) band who was so desperate to become popular that they made one of the worst 'epic' albums of all time, filled with identical and overdone guitar work and moronic, cliche lyrics. | 5 | | Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine
What was so attractive about this band in the first place? Their music is completely boring, repetitive, and suffers from a lack of structure. Tom Morello may have some awesome guitar work, but the band goes downhill from there. | |

09.15.07 | Come on, your overreacting on 2. You never rocked out to that in 6th and 7th grade. I know I did.

09.15.07 | ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN | irishmanshibby
09.15.07 | while i used to listen to them, i can agree on 1-4.
but i have to TOTALLY disagree on 5. totally. come on dude. rage rules | Willie
09.15.07 | With every review and every list it becomes more apparent that our musical tastes are not even remotely similar... I can agree with number 5 as I think the vocalist sounds like an angry chipmunk and is too repetitive. 2,3, and 4 I can say I like with no shame... and never heard number 1, but with our track record I'm guessing I'd like that too. | chimera908
09.15.07 | I completely agree with 1-3 however I think 4's a decent albums and 5 is great. | MrKite
09.15.07 | Green Day were always pop punk, you're just too retarded to realize it. | tribestros
09.15.07 | Dookie was not pop-punk. | The Door Mouse
09.15.07 | Lol, yes it was! | BallsToTheWall
09.15.07 | I didnt know that either. | The Door Mouse
09.15.07 | Tribes, if you despise 5 so much, why did you give it a 3.5 | Willie
09.15.07 | That is a good question... if a 3.5 means that he despises an album then that means I have totally misunderstood his reviews! | Electric City
09.15.07 | Yeah these suck, but Nickelback pwns some hxc shit. | JoeForPresident
09.15.07 | i like 4. i think a lot of people give them too much bs because they got popular | tribestros
09.15.07 | I don't know why it has a 3.5.
I'll change it. | Thor
09.15.07 | 5....you fucker. | cometuesday
09.15.07 | Definitely agree that 1, 2, and 3 are collectively a mass of aural trash. I'll still rock out to Green Day every once and a few months but I can't say I bothered to pick up 4.
But 5? I'll give it to you that some of their other albums are not as impressive, but that one is pretty damn good. | Fort23
09.15.07 | I looked at the first three and waslike, Ok, I agree. Then I saw 4 and was like nonononono "Oh My!" Then I saw 5 and was like waaaaaaaaaaaat my goodness.
In other words, I realy like 5 cant see why you don't, and American Idiot is important to me. (dookie was pop punk). But good list otherwise, Fred Durst annoys me as well. | MrKite
09.15.07 | I bet you also don't think the Ramones are pop punk. | tribestros
09.15.07 | Looking at your reviews, don't talk to me. If your going to criticize my genres, why don't you get out of mainstream rock, eh? | Altmer
09.15.07 | all except 5 are terrible or I haven't heard | tom79
09.15.07 | er, Green Day was always pop punk. Why is that hard to understand? | Zoo
09.15.07 | I'm actually with you on 1, 2, and 4. I tend to ignore all RATM. But I still like Disturbed. | MrKite
09.15.07 | Were you talking to me with that last post, tribe? | eborwar
08.23.08 | mr. Kite and tribewhatever - why are you fighting over music reviews, seriously, who cares.
also disturbed and rage against the machine are awesome bands. |
