It's Always Sunny

Season 13 was pretty hit or miss--a few more hits than misses, with the episodes that actually had Dennis generally (and not unexpectedly) being the stronger of the bunch, but yowza, that finale. The final five minutes were very likely the strangest--and without a doubt the most beautiful--thing the Gang has ever put to film. List is stuff I'm planning to snag soon.
1The Ocean
Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic

Already on its way, baby!
2Gregory Alan Isakov
Evening Machines

This guy needs more attention around these here parts.
3The Joy Formidable
AAARTH
4Thom Yorke
Suspiria

Early tracks have been fire. Morose and ghostly, ethereal fire. Fun fact: May be seeing the film tonight, which will likely help finalize my decision on whether to buy this.
5Johann Johannsson
Mandy

Meanwhile, think I missed my chance on seeing this one in the ol' movie-house, but definitely try to Redbox this bad boy. Hopefully it's a fitting swan song to this icon of modern classical, gone far fuckin' too soon.
6How to Dress Well
The Anteroom
7Black Peaks
All That Divides

Thanks, Sputnik; had no idea this band existed until like two weeks ago. Very solid stuff.

See 2.

Don't Touch The Outside

Sputnik's truly slippin'--I had to add this to the database myself. Tsk tsk.

Still need to listen to more Lucy Dacus, but the other 2/3rds of this band are already in steady rotation on my playlists, so pretty pumped for this, despite the somewhat muted reaction it seems to be generating.

Love in the Time of E-Mail

Iffier on this one. Love the name, and Jeff Rosenstock's solo stuff, but may need to give it a few more streams before deciding.
