sawesomeness 06.05.15	The same thing happened where I live years ago. I still think about it sometimes while driving on the highway where some dude was just randomly shooting at people. It's pretty messed up for a person to be taking random pot-shots at people. They did catch the guy doing it near me, though. Honestly, I'm (pleasantly) surprised there aren't more copy-cats with these kinds of things.

It's legally the most important document this country has and one of the very first things people wanted to change about it back then was to say that everyone should have the right to carry a gun. KrazyKris 06.05.15	Well, look at the three initial ideas: - Self-defense: If there are actually people out to kill you and nothing else, then you have a problem either way, especially if you aren't used to not only carry your gun with you, but also a proper amount of ammunition. Everything else (a guy stepped onto my and only my ground; he wanted to steal my whatever) is no sane reason to shoot anyone. - Defense of the state: That's why the government should have weapons and ammunition and people, who are actually trained at using them. One of its main goals is to guarantee people's safety. There should be no need for everyone to run around with a rifle in case all of a sudden Mexico starts an attack or something. - Resistance to oppression: Ok, that kind of makes sense. But if we have the government and its troops on one side and the angry, angry people on the other, the angry, angry people are still going to lose the battle. Why? Cause there's like zero chance that they have actually enough ammunition to really do something with their oh so great weapons for more than one or two days.

On the other hand the chances of you getting hit by a car, getting stabbed or beaten or having something quite heavy falling on you're head are still damn high compared to you getting shot. There may be no wars in our lives, but there are so many ways we could die that this guy wouldn't freak me out too much.
