I generally stick to beer (and usually green bottled stuff like Beck's, St Paulie Girl, Peroni, Carlsberg etc), Scotch (current favorites are Glenfiddich and Johnny Walker Black) or a nice red. preferably a merlot/cabernet sauvignon. |

and I was really half-joking about the Captain and Coke thing, they're not bad, I just haven't had the urge to drink one in a long time. If mixed properly (i.e. not too heavy on the soda) they can be good. Substituting something like Bacardi Superior can also (ahem) stiffen it up a bit. |

I can't get into IPAs, I'm not a fan of overly hoppy beers. They're really good for the first one but then they give me a headache.
