01.16.15 | how is it? I missed seeing the master in cinemas and im still kicking myself for it |

01.16.15 | it's good. i need to see it again because the plot is all over the place (on purpose) and it'd be a lot easier to pick up on minor details the second time around. it has a big lebowski/fear and loathing feel at some points but you definitely can tell that it's a PTA movie. |

01.16.15 | sounds good, big fan of Big Lebowski and PTA |
DikkoZinner
01.16.15 | Looking forward to it.
"PTA"
Best in the biz right now |

01.16.15 | ive heard a lot of comparisons to big lebowski, neat |
PunkMoon
01.16.15 | Loved it. Though I was sort of sold the minute "Vitamin C" started playing over the title. |

01.16.15 | it was so good |

01.16.15 | I wanna see this movie so bad!! to bad my local theatre has yet to screen it... Johnny Greenwood? Paul Thomas Anderson? I'm psyched! |
londoncalling457
01.16.15 | there were 3 other people in the theater besides me and my 2 friends cause everyone else was there to see fuckin taken 3 or something |

01.16.15 | Is it so terrible that everyone else went to see a popular movie targeted as a winter blockbuster for younger folks? Complaining about people choosing to see terrible movies is like going to the bar and bitching about all the people drinking miller lite while you sip on your Macallan 10 year single malt scotch. |
londoncalling457
01.16.15 | chill krazykris i wasn't complaining, empty theaters rule. |
JWT155
01.16.15 | Agreed. I saw the last Hobbit movie with 3 friends, we were the only people in the theater and it slowly turned into an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. |
londoncalling457
01.16.15 | yeah the dude sitting behind us was like 60 and there by himself. during a scene where someone says the name of a weed strain he was like "WHERE CAN I GET SOME OF THAT SHIT" and everyone laughed. i like to think we bonded. |
JWT155
01.16.15 | I haven't smoked in years but I'm thinking this will be a movie that needs at least 1 good stoned viewing |

01.16.15 | idk those previews/trailers looked awful |

01.16.15 | how does it compare to there will be blood? that's the only pta movie i've seen to date. |
ArsMoriendi
01.16.15 | Saw it once, but it's obvious that it's the type of movie you need to watch multiple times to fully appreciate. |
TalonsOfFire
01.16.15 | I'm seeing this tonight, am prepared for ample confusion |
londoncalling457
01.17.15 | "how does it compare to there will be blood?"
don't bother comparing it. i think there will be blood is the better made movie because its almost perfect, but inherent vice is great for what its meant to be. |

01.17.15 | "how does it compare to there will be blood? that's the only pta movie i've seen to date."
It's more fun, the supporting cast is great, and Can is on the soundtrack . I think the one weakness of TWBB
is that the supporting cast was lacking and had little charisma. Daniel was the only interesting character
and had to carry the whole movie on his own. Vice has more flavor in that regard. |

01.17.15 | i think i'm gonna like the movie more than the book but we'll see i guess |
TalonsOfFire
01.17.15 | I'm a big PTA fan but that was one of the most unpleasant movie going experiences I've had in a while, but like The Master I'm sure I'll grow to like it more on repeated viewings |
londoncalling457
01.17.15 | well I mean I realized about halfway through that shit was just gonna keep getting weirder and more incoherent, and just went along for the ride. i really enjoyed it, but the second viewing is gonna be helpful. i'd encourage you to read up on some theories that people have posted about the film, pretty cool stuff. |
londoncalling457
01.17.15 | it was really one of those movies that I'm glad I caught in theaters |
