Metal Up Your Arse!
Well, in celebration of quitting my job, I did a little cd shopping in Toronto this past weekend. I'm like a woman in a shoe store when I go into Sonic Boom Records.
Through Chasm, Caves And Titan Woods
I really don't know why I bought this album. I guess I was just curious to see what other black metal was out there. Not bad..
I was once told, "If you do not own this album, you do not enjoy prog-metal". More thrashy then anything else. So far, quite enjoyable.
Death metal that doesn't suck!
The Erosion of Sanity
Time to listen to this album kiddies. One of the greatest, classic death metal albums of all time. No joke either.
|5|| ||Skinny Puppy|
Bites & Remission
Awesome industrial from the masters themselves.
|6||Spawn of Possession|
I needed to have a good laugh and unfortunately, everything comes with a price. Fortunately, this was a cheap laugh (3 bucks). Do these guys know how to wank or what?
The New Order
Take it from me, don't ever listen to rampant thrash fanboys about what good thrash is all about. Boring, boring, and REALLY BORING. How is this a classic?
I was once told, "If you do not own this album, you do not enjoy prog-metal". I think Willie told me this one.
Havent heard any of these but I do need Gorguts.
Never heard Gorguts but 1, 2, 7 and 8 FTW
Ha ha, don't blame me for any of these. For 2 I would have reccomended "Awaken the Guardian" and for 7 I would have (and later did) reccomended Practice What You Preach, and for 8 I did say that phrase (probably), but it was about Dimension: Hatross. Nice list though ;)
I wanna cd shop in canada
I've never been to a CD shop outside of F.Y.E, i'd go to canada just for that.
7 rules man!
I love "Practice what your Preach" because it ain't boring. I'm adding those other two albums to my list, especially that Voivod album.
go to Toronto for a world of selection.
"The New Order" is an exercise in repeditiveness.
dont see metallica's metal up your ass
I need to hear Skinny Puppy
god damn right you do ^^^
Gorguts rules. Voivod's made some great albums. Testament sucks. Carpathian Forest sucks.
Agreed on 7, but I like a bit of Testament's later stuff.
I read this as "meat up your arse."
yeah Testament sucks...outdated thrash
Bullshit, Testament rules
'Outdated thrash' seems more appropriate. Last night, I was just becoming so bored with 'The New Order' that I threw on Voivod and it instantly made me happy! Kind of Rush sounding, am I right?
