06.29.08 | Man I wish I could say this is what I was listening to as a kid. A few bad ones, but Art of Drowning? That's awesome. |

06.29.08 | well the average age i was when listening to most of this stuff was 13-15 and til the age i am now (21), but that only counts for the albums i still listen to. i know i forgot Godsmack, Adema, Staind, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd. damn those are all bands i loved back then but now cant stand. how did i forget those |

06.29.08 | Cool list. I like most of these as well. No. 10, 17, 19, 21, 26, 31, 32 are awesome. |

06.29.08 | 23 was one the first albums I ever heard as a toddler.
22 has immense nostalgia value to me. |

06.29.08 | Ah jeez, 28 still rules on both the nostalgia and greatness fronts. |

06.29.08 | The music that has the most nostalgia factor to me are what I parents used to play in the car before i got my ipod. Rod Stewart, John Mayer, that New Radicals song, Boston, all of those have huge nostalgia factors on me. But i'm only 14 now, it will be interestigng if i look back at bands like Opeth in 10 years and they have that kind of effect on me, it's already kinda happening with Incubus for me, that was only 3-4 years ago. |
Cuban Pete
06.29.08 | 5, 17, 21 and 30-32 still rule |

06.29.08 | bodom: i never really listened to music that my parents would play since my dad was into The Beach Boys and The Beatles (whom i even hated when i was a kid). my mom had good taste but she never bought cds |
Yazz_Flute
06.30.08 | i didnt listen to them cuz i wanted to, this is seriously when i was like 3-7 years old. It would just be on, and back then i enjoyed them.
Yeah those were the days tbh...
Boston is still pretty awesome though. I remember like 10 years ago they were lik the heaviest band ever to me lol...oh the irony |
Masochist
06.30.08 | NICE! Lots of good stuff on here! Albums that are nostalgic for myself, stuff I listen to still today, stuff that I discovered just this year. SOOO nice to see that SmashMouth c.d. on here; it's the only one I've ever owned (and I don't have it anymore).
About #'s 29 and 30, the albums are called "Slipknot" (as opposed to "Slipiknot"), and "40 oz. To Freedom" (as opposed to "40 oz. OF Freedom"). That's just if you want those pictures to show, though...
Anyways...great list, thanks for it! |
