Rec Me A Classic 5

During my year of being a Sputnikmusic user, I never thought I would see a fanbase of like-minded individuals. Greyshadow with his posthardcore taste, Colton for his lovr of Origami Angel, and Pikazilla for his love of 65daysofstatic. My love of music, if it wasn't austistic enough, can vary. Almost every album I come across is great, but not perfect. I've noticed my ratio of ratings between 4.5s and 5s to be very unbalanced. And so, what I want is a rec so good, every song is perfect. But most importantly, the album art needs to fit the mood of the album perfectly. You might get an idea of what I may like in my 5s, but please send me anything that you think is great. Thank you as always! List is 5s.
1Aphex Twin
Selected Ambient Works 85-92
2Origami Angel
Somewhere City
3Lower Than Atlantis
Far Q
4Michael Jackson
Thriller
5Shiner
Lula Divinia
6Bladee
Eversince

Ryus's submission

Thoughts:
It's good. Very sad, very melodic, and very blue. The windy synths and mellow trap beats feels as though you have hit the lowest of low, walking through the cold dark streets of November with only a cigarette to keep you warm. Bladee has an amazing production sound, but with their depressed lyricism and sometimes noticable autotune, the only thing I feel sad about is they didn't have time to think about that Casper verse.
"Feel like Casper, feel like you can’t see me when I’m friendly"
But Who Goes There and Romeo are the best tracks in my opinion. The album is great for the fall season, and would recommended to anyone who likes Juice World

7Thrice
The Artist in the Ambulance

Ebola's submussion

Thoughts:
It was about time I listened to Thrice's masterpiece. Almost every song it's a fantastic mix of post-hardcore, alternative, emo, metalcore, and...fuck was that a dash of punk? While most of the tracks were good, Cold Cash and Cold Hearts and Paper Tigers were the ones I couldn't find myself listening to. However, first might grow on me, so how knows? Nonetheless, it's a hell of a fruit punch of an album.
Rating: 4.5/5
8Failure
Fantastic Planet

Shemson's submission

Thoughts:
I heard a lot from them, and now I know why. Failure's Fantastic Planet might be the closest to the five spot so far. But I don't know what it is. Could it be the pacing of the songs? Was it Smoking Umbrellas that didn't click for me? Whatever that reason is, I think it's best that I need to listen to it again. I mean, it's not like I was struggling to find a good time to listen to it anyway. Why not, it's good to listen to.
Rating: 4.7/5 at the moment
9Hum
Downward Is Heavenward

Shemson's submission

Thoughts:
Well, I expected more from this, but I don't know why. Hum, like most of the post-hardcore alternative emo space rock bands, has an excellent sound that can't be mastered today. The pacing of the guitars and drums and their abundance of pedals are very essential to the sound, but it doesn't feel over produced and flooded in reverb and distortion. Very calm, yet not bland. Graceful, however, not too fancy. Blue, but there is a song that mentions green. Most songs are great, but Dreamhouse and Afternoon With Axolotls didn't seem to catch my attention. But, it's an album that is far from an Azul snooze and is a must listen for fans of Shiner.
