12.14.21 | Oh no, Gore is not their worst album! Deftones is. Gore belongs somewhere in the middle. | JKing92
12.14.21 | I agree with Vercetti saying that Gore is not the worst, but I differ in that I'd say that Koi No Yokan is actually the worst by miles.
My own ranking:
1 > 4 > 5 > 9 > 6 > 2 > 7 > 8 > 3 | NoiseByAccident

12.14.21 | For what’s it’s worth, my take: Diamond Eyes, White Pony, Deftones, Ohms, Koi No Yokan, Saturday Night Wrist, Around The Fur, Gore, Adrenaline | KingdomOfTyrant
12.14.21 | Koi No Yokan is 1 | Scoot
12.14.21 | 7 gets way underrated | JKing92
12.14.21 | To me, Koi No Yokan is an album that is well-crafted, but ultimately undone by its own self-consciousness. By which I mean, I feel that it's trying a bit too hard to achieve the same bracing effect of albums like White Pony and Saturday Night Wrist, but where those albums work because of how eclectic and varied the sound is, Koi winds up feeling like it's deliberately trying to combine the sound of those two albums, but in the process winds up jettisoning the sense of adventure and mystery that distinguished those prior two albums. When Deftones weren't meticulously crafting their music, they made albums that achieved the moody, evocative atmosphere that Koi tries so hard to reach. In the end, the execution is just a bit too obvious and laborious to work, which I find ultimately disappointing. | NoiseByAccident
12.15.21 | I see where you're coming from, I just don't feel that way. My only real issue with the album is that there are no standout tracks. But overall, great record. | 90470n573r01d5
12.15.21 | 6 should've been first, idc |
