07.14.22 | Call a help line if it gets too dark. Theres nothing wrong with getting some help. Therapy or a chat with your doctor wont ever hurt. Also Journal out your feelings and get the stuff out of your head and tear up the paper afterwards if that helps
Idk what to reccomend to listen without knowing tastes. |

07.14.22 | Depends on the country i guess. Ive found they are fucking awkward. |

07.14.22 | and speaking of country ive heard a lot of bad stories from the US of suicidal people talking about it to a therapist and then silently being reported and having the cops show up to commit em for a brief while
thats fucked up |
Ectier
07.14.22 | Thats really fucked up. The US keeps sounding more and more apocaplytic. Getting off topic though,
Obviously seek support/help if your country isnt like shit house with mental health support |

07.14.22 | It's a good sign that you appear to logically and objectively recognise where you currently stand; even voicing it here is a start, but yes, I echo Ectier's advice on next steps. |

07.14.22 | Let’s not go demonizing therapy in the US. Those anecdotal stories do sound tragic doesn’t mean that it is representative of US mental health support as a whole. Therapy [3] |

Therapy and psychiatry saved my life, literally. You hear a lot of negative shit about both, especially psychiatry but I would be dead rn if not for my medications. Everyone has different brain chemistry. Find someone you feel comfortable talking to. Hang in there |

07.14.22 | It’s not an American thing for therapists / psychiatric to have a responsibility to report clients that pose a threat to harm themselves or others, and they even have to tell you that this is a line where your confidentiality ends and they have to take external measures for yours and other peoples safety. It’s pretty common sense. |

Also, educate yourself, find something you like and learn about it. Use your head to think about stuff you like, and find more and more things you think are cool. Create your own philosophy, your own mythology, create yourself constantly. Stagnation is death of the spirit |

07.14.22 | thats not how therapy works |
pjquinones747
07.14.22 | Stay occupied, preferably with something that gives you meaning. Could be a fuckin' video game or tv show for all I care. Are you eating enough/healthy? Sounds basic and I know I've gotten sick of hearing this too but lots of the onset symptoms of depression and anxiety begin with chemicals in the brain not occurring enough right? Treating your body correctly by putting the right stuff into it can make a big difference. Staying active is tough, I work in an office and then come home and sit on my ass most days, but can be very helpful if that's something easily manageable for you. If all else fails obviously therapy [7] is a great option, and if you're not able to afford it then check out how state benefits look where you live and see what options might be available to you. You are far from alone with this struggle and this too will pass! You have the right mindset it seems so keep it going! |

07.14.22 | Read Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy by David D. Burns. Its a book that basically helps you do cognitive behavioral therapy on your own and its pretty amazing. Hope you feel better brother. |

07.20.22 | Thanks for all the sweet words ☺️, especially pjquinones747. I had far too much time on my hands to be thinking about shit that I didn't need to be thinking about. I'm in a much better place now. Parksungjung, I think you bring up a point that people don’t seem to want to discuss. |
