It's only fitting that an album as anticipated and hyped up as Kanye West's Donda randomly releases on a Sunday morning with no prior warning and a black square for cover art. Although many were looking forward to listening to Kanye's 10th studio album, unfortunately this could-be masterpiece was completely fucking tarnished by DaBaby's presence. Unlike Kanye himself, DaBaby is not talented enough to have his art separated from the artist. I couldn't even judge his verse on "Jail Pt 2" cause I was screaming and punching my wall when I heard DaBaby's voice. The only song anyone will remember here anyways is Tell the Vision all the other songs are complete filler garbage. Donda leaves a sour taste that no number of good beats, gospel choirs or church organs will cleanse. Zero stars. | |
