10.31.22 | Eh it's fine.
The fact that Megadeth covered Paranoid feels like something from a parallel universe. |

10.31.22 | you will get shite on here for including changes, everybody hates it, I dont, but I am sure you could find another banger to fill in, or something else slower
maybe even something from V4, if you look |
Egarran
10.31.22 | V4 is
wait for it
UNDERRATED
And that's an objective fact |

10.31.22 | list is trash. No Supernaut?! Into the Void at 20?! No Cornucopia or Under the Sun too? Man, this is unacceptable |

10.31.22 | "you will get shite on here for including changes, everybody hates it, I dont"
Nor do I... always loved it, in fact. And 'Wheels of Confusion/The Straightener' is one of my absolute faves. So yeah, V4 has loads of awesome beyond those as well.
Otherwise and elsewhere, surely 'Planet Caravan'. Pure brilliance. |

10.31.22 | Get Changes the fk out |
ShadowRemains
10.31.22 | paranoid #1 lol |
JKing92
10.31.22 | Interesting list. I'm not sure what the entirety of a top twenty would entail, but I do have a top ten (arranged in chronological order):
"Black Sabbath"
"N.I.B."
"War Pigs"
"Paranoid"
"Planet Caravan"
"Hand of Doom"
"Lord of This World"
"Solitude"
"Into the Void"
"Supernaut"
I can't say I care much past Vol. 4 (I thought Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was merely OK, I really disliked Sabotage, I haven't heard Technical Ecstasy or Never Say Die, and I can't stand Dio -- though I will say that what I heard of 13 when it first came out was pretty decent, even though I never listened to the full album), but for those first three or four albums, oh man -- they were one of the best bands in the world between 1970 and 1972, without doubt. |

10.31.22 | btw: My list ends with number 17. Everything after that is just stuff from the comments.
"you will get shite on here for including changes"
"Get Changes the fk out"
It's my list and I like Changes. So it stays
"list is trash."
"paranoid #1 lol"
It's what I like
@JKing92: Cool list. I agree that the overall quality dropped after Vol. 4 but there are some good songs on the later albums too. |

10.31.22 | Changes isn't a favorite, but it also gets too much hate |
JKing92
11.01.22 | Even though I'm not a fan of "Changes," I will say this:
"Changes" > "Am I Going Insane"
The former I merely dislike, the latter I flat out despise. |

11.01.22 | Sabotage rules idk man I like it the most out of their stuff |

11.01.22 | Yo jking check sabotage one of my favorite sabbath records |
JKing92
11.01.22 | I stand by saying that entirely. I think I said this last year somewhere on here, but I consider Dio to be in the same vein as singers like Michael Bolton and even Mariah Carey -- technically accomplished vocalists who utterly revolt me because of how much they overdo everything vocally. I understand that a lot of people are going to disagree with me, but I really hate everything I've heard from Dio because of what I have always seen as the kind of overwrought, self-indulgent vocal theatrics that consistently get on my nerves regardless of what musical setting they're in. |
wham49
11.02.22 | I hear you JKing, but the Dio BS albums are great, H&H is wonderful, and he doesnt overdo it too much on it, same as Mob Rules, his other bands especially DIo I totally agree with you |
Egarran
11.02.22 | Not a big Dio fan here either- but check out Dehumanizer. That was a positive surprise for me. |
wham49
11.03.22 | Dehumanizer is a big surprise, almost like Painkiller for Priest |
