How the hell can I get into these?

Struggling to get to the juiciness for years but failling horribly. I am badly craving to stick my teeth in, but remain confused, empty handed and with a bitter taste. There are multiple things that worked for me with other bands : seeing the band live (Moonspell) or even seeing a live show on video, Saint Vitus bar in New York is particularly great at that (Fell Voices); listening every day for weeks (Paradise Lost- Obsidian), getting the album to listen in at better quality than YT(Selbst) ; trying it again and again like once a year until it clicked (Darkthrone); seeing a video that gives a new perspective (Electric Wizard- the chosen few). One other thing I do but I am not sure it ever helped in getting into bands is to read reviews or lyrics whilst listening. But nothing seems to work with these so far, I am not giving up on them though, I think the potential reward is too good to miss out. Any album/song recommendation to insist on is welcomed. Or maybe different methods.
1Aevangelist
De Masticatione Mortuorum In Tumulis

Some good stuff but I feel the need of a more oppressive atmosphere and/or more hooks to grab on.
2Aosoth
IV: An Arrow in Heart

Nothing bad to say, catchy, well produced, well balanced but that's all I get so far, no piece of genious work identified.
3Ash Borer
The Irrepassable Gate

Lead guitar and drumming are creative but the riffs and vocals are underwhelming for me...
4Bell Witch
Mirror Reaper

Got more and more atmospheric with every album but the atmosphere is not working for me..neither intriguing, nor crushing, nor menacing, nor mind-blowing..
5Blut Aus Nord
Ultima Thulee

First album works pretty well for me, I just have trouble in getting into all the others:)
6Cultes Des Ghoules
Sinister

I love this album. The rest is destroyed for me by the seemingly broadly appreciated vocals..
7Darkspace
Dark Space I

Not sure why this does not work. Paysage D'hiver works very well for me. Maybe I don't like space that much as it often asks for some electronic gimmickry but cannot put my finger on it as this one is pretty organic in terms of production as far as I can tell.
8Deathspell Omega
Paracletus

I think I might have like 10 bands in my favourite lists that take (a lot of) inspiration from DsO so not sure why it does not click. I mean, enjoyable stuff but I am expecting mind-blowing.
9Mizmor
Yodh

Vocals seem forced and I do not mean that in the good way:) Riffing still left to desire for me as well. Atmosphere though is a huge plus and keeps me trying.
10My Dying Bride
The Ghost of Orion

Paradise lost is my favourite band since the 90s so how the hell am I underwhelmed by everything MDB put out?
11Om
Advaitic Songs

Some very creative and interesting ideas but sounds just too 70s for my taste.
12Panopticon
Autumn Eternal

No clue why I am not on the Panopticon boat. It simply does not take me anywhere.
13Reverend Bizarre
In The Rectory Of The Bizarre Reverend

There are actually several songs of this band that I like a lot. But..call me crazy but overall sound is still 70s like to me, which is not a bad thing per se but a turn-off for me.
14Rorcal
Muladona

Atmosphere is there, all instruments sound very good, the songwriting is what I am not (yet) grasping.
15Shrine Of Insanabilis
Disciples Of The Void

Great production, some interesting ideas and spectacular moves but it does not gel well for me.
16Sleep
Dopesmoker

Surely this is a monster of a band. I understand all the hype, it's creative, unique, genuine. I like it but it still needs to click in order to be able to sit through a full album without having my thoughts wonder around far away from it.
17Spectral Voice
Eroded Corridors of Unbeing

Production and vocals are up my alley. Songwriting still feels a tad forced and predictable.
18Unholy (FIN)
The Second Ring of Power

Superb old school spooky wtf atmosphere, that bass as well, oh boy...I sit on my toes all the time on the good build-ups but then it either goes nowhere or I am not so happy with where it goes, if that makes any sense:)
19Woods of Ypres
Woods V: Grey Skies and Electric Light

I am so far from getting into this. I mean, I don't hate it but there isn't anything in particular that I like at this point, so trying some more clearly shows I am a stubborn moron.
