Stuff I bought No. 2 (+3)

I had to merge two lists into one and add a post scriptum, potential buy I'm planning shortly in order to make this list a bit longer than 2 albums. The first two albums are stuff I bought while waiting for my delivery of stuff I bought no. 1, the third one is an album I bought now, and the fourth one is an album I'm probably going to buy shortly, but only if I stumble across it in my local store and if I still have the cash (not ordering it specially)... oopf, it's not easy being a poor fan like me, innit.
1Judas Priest
Defenders of the Faith

As I mentioned in the list before, I am by no means a fan of classic heavy metal. But I do find it appealing for some reasons, and because of a sudden rush of craving for semi-kitsch (you must admit), but proper, reliable metal, I decided to catch up on some of the classics. I stumbled upon Defenders in my favourite store while browsing, had a good price, so I bought it. This concludes me completing my 3-piece ''Judas Crown''. The ''crown'' is my solution for an essential set of albums for a given artist, in the scenario that I'm not willing to buy all their records. In the case of Judas it consists of ''Screaming for vengeance'', ''Painkiller'' and ''Defenders of faith''. I know many people consider ''Stained Class'' and '"Sin after sin'' as a part of the crown too, but I base my judgement on the basis of a very big set of opinions collected from various sites and pro-musician opinions. Of course I collect these opinions as I go on, I don't do any 3 day research before buying albums.
2Celtic Frost
To Mega Therion

One of my book purchases lately was a history of Black Metal. I read only 2/3, because to be honest, as interesting as it is, I felt a bit like reading through Wiki. Very well written book, but more for reference, than just ''getting into''. As I love the black metal entourage (especially the Norwegian subgenre), but I am by no means ''trv'' or ''kvlt'' or a specialist in the genre (I only own, what, 3 or 4 albums you could remotely classify as BM). Therefore, I wanted to educate myself a bit in the topic of the history. As ''To mega Therion'' is an album that KEEPS getting mentioned in various sources as a must-have metal album (for example, Riverside's drummer Piotr Kozieradzki named this his all-time favourite album), I decided to buy it when I saw it on promotion, good price, very nice digipack edition with bonuses. The music itself is definitely growing on me, but it's one of those cases where I can't help feeling that it made an enormous impression back in the day, but now...
3Meller Golyzniak Duda
Live

I have no idea what to expect from this. Leading prog musicians on the Polish stage got together for a bit of playing, released one studio album and played one concert, which was recorded and released in a limited amount. Duda and Meller are known from Riverside (although Meller is a recent member), and Gołyźniak is the drummer for an array of bands, which inculded Lion Shepherd. This live album keeps getting positive reviews all around, and the description in reviews seems to be cup of tea, but I'm deliberately not listening to it before it arrives in physical form. Risky operation, but I like doing this sometimes- I don't know even one song of an artist, but I just go with the crowd of impressed listeners. Usually it works, sometimes fails dramatically.
4Acid Drinkers
Infernal Connection

This album is a prospect. Been thinking of buying some Acid Drinkers albums, as I keep hearing songs here and there from when I was a little kid. Even saw the live at a festival once. To those who don't know them- they are a Polish thrash band, had a big chance for an international carrier, but flopped. A legend in our country, have been playing since the 80's. Known for some crazy covers, especially '"Seasons in the abyss'' (but don't judge them by it though). ''Infernal connection'' seems to be praised as their best album, so I'll give it a go- if I see it somewhere at good price, nearer the end of the month. Eventually I'll buy it though, that's for sure.
