Uzu’s Tops of 2020
2020 has been... a year, hasn’t it? There’s been so many trials, troubles and hardships that’ve been had by so many people that it’s hard to look around nowadays and find somebody who’s NOT been directly or indirectly affected by everything that’s happened thus far. But one of the few bright spots this year did have was music. Despite having their main source of income shut off from them due to COVID, many bands and artists stepped up to the plate and delivered a plethora of material through which not only the artists themselves but us, the audience, could and still can find solace, motivation, comfort and/or catharsis. So for this list, I’d like to salute the bands/artists who’s material released this year has positively affected me the most. A caveat, but the top 10 of this list is ranked accordingly, while from 11 onward isn’t strictly ranked... and so, ladies and gentlemen, without further ado... my top albums of 2020: |
