2001: Doof's Top 10 Songs

I always liked 2001, even at the time I was aware it was a really strong year for music and my tastes were expanding so much. In terms of this selection there might even be a bit of recency bias operating here with the two recent discovery picks (placings 9 and 10) but those spots were really hard to settle on.

The best '90s style alt rock track not released in the '90s?

Could only find a (pretty amusing and loveable) live version to put up here, but this song and indeed the entire album 'The Skull Mailbox' are well worth purchasing from Bandcamp if you like his weird 'a more eccentric Elliott Smith goes gothic' style.
