this record is a minor culmination of all these years i spent making weird tunes - combines the electronic madness of i live in netherlands and the eeriness, emotional rawness and improvisation/experimentation theme of my previous pypypy releases. in a way it also feels like an ultimate pole younger album, but since i record my guitar on a really baffling phone mic, i tried to make this album less lo-fi/emo by fiddling with synths & drums and covering my acoustic guitar under walls of noise and distortion | | 2 |  | The Body
I have Fought Against It, But I Can’t Any Longer
i'm quite fond of the work that i've done because there isn't a single sound here that i haven't played or made (well, maybe minus the crowd sounds on 2nd track, but it's still a free sample), used a bunch of online music instruments and directed all that noisy shit, there's even a printer sample that i recorded while getting a library card ("live from the rose garden", altho you won't recognize it lol) | | 3 |  | Young Widows

this is my longest album, i think; most varied, most ambitious and dare i say, most consistent? actually i'm not sure, but i really tried to put some love and dedication into this chaotic clusterfuck of heaviness. the sound is fuckin everywhere. however, there might be a problem with mastering. the songs might just be too loud or too quiet, that's something i never figured out while producing these tracks because i heard it differently on all of my things and everyone i asked to listen heard it differently too. some magical shit. | |
