Fav Tech Death Metal albums of 2010s
1Fallujah
Dreamless

The most consistent Fallujah album from start to finish, the way Fallujah create atmosphere is leagues above their contemporaries. The guitar playing of Scott Carstairs is awe-inspiring as well as the riffs are some of the greatest I have ever heard.
2Inferi (USA)
Revenant

Perfect blend of melodic death metal and tech death metal, every melody on this album resonates strongly. The riffs are blistering and is one of the most fun albums I know of.
3Alustrium
A Tunnel to Eden

Some of the most unique tech death riffing I've heard in this genre, endlessly progressive, the tracks constantly bend in weave before you can even blink.
4Rivers of Nihil
Where Owls Know My Name

The critical darling of the bunch, and for good reason. RoN on Owls are certainly not just a tech death band, delving into a lot of more melancholic proggier songwriting, and everything resonates strongly.
5Infant Annihilator
The Elysian Grandeval Galèriarch

Favorite deathcore band, the way they write deathcore on this album is levels above their contemporaries. Absolutely tech death metal as well, this album is a tour de force in every sense of the word, from start to finish a masterpiece.
6Rings of Saturn
Dingir

Say what you will about Rings of Saturn in modern day, but back in the early 2010s they were paving the way for a truly unique sound that bands are attempting to copycat still to this day.
7The Faceless
Autotheism

The Faceless peaked on Autotheism and is some of the finest work in all of the landscape of this genre.
8Archspire
Relentless Mutation

While not my personal favorite tech death band, Archspire are certainly unique from other bands out there.
9Slugdge
Esoteric Malacology

The thematics of this make it stand out a lot from the bunch, what with it being based on slugs and such. The song titles are always entertaining by this band and the music is fantastic.
10Revocation
The Outer Ones

Favorite Revocation album though every album is solid.
