07.04.19 | I have quite a lot I'm following, most are gaming or pop-culture related:
- The Angry Chicken
- The Instance (I like Blizzard games, what can I say)
- The Dive (I like my eSports too from time to time)
- Radiolab (big recommendation here, these guys make some real quality shows)
- History of Westeros (cus I'm a Song of Ice and Fire junkie)
- Hardcore History (another amazing show if you like your history shows)
- The Co-optional podcast (I used to listen to this a lot, fell of the radar a little bit. RIP Totalbiscuit, I miss that man). |

07.04.19 | Radiolab did a great edition about pro wrestling that I (as a complete outsider) really enjoyed. You can look it up easily, the episode was called 'La Mancha Screwjob' if I remember it correctly. |

07.04.19 | Tried as an experiment to listen to some popular right wing podcasts which shall remain unnamed.
Basically I don't understand how they are possible. The immense amount of willful ignorance and defeated hate permeating everything is astounding.
Their listener numbers must somehow be inflated by an evil cabal.
Very possibly they feel the same about the traitorous leftist elite that ruin everything with their intrusive utopian socialism. |
Sharkattack
07.04.19 | I’m all about chapo and hardcore history of too. Stuff they don’t want you to know is good sometimes. |

07.04.19 | @Papa, saw they have a full collection for 60 bucks, might just wait a month and buy that. Seems very acceptable for 50 shows. |
Papa Universe
07.04.19 | It's a really good price, considering they can have an episode go for 7 hours. |
nightbringer
07.04.19 | Mostly philosophy/theology podcasts. Of those, one that might be of wide(ish) appeal is the 'Unbelievable?' podcast, which features weekly discussions/debates, usually between a Christian and skeptic.

07.05.19 | “I also like to listen to Joe "invite nothing but the alt right to my podcasts" rogan”
Can someone explain this to me? I feel like whenever he appears in my recommended it’s episodes with comedians or entertainers. Checking his recent interviews, he’s done David Pakman and Eric Weinstein in the last month too. I’m fairly sure Kyle Kulinski has been on more than once. Yang and Gabbard have shown up recently too. I’m not sure if you yourself Roly are doing a bit or being genuine but it’s a sentiment I see a lot online and I don’t really understand it. |

TheSupernatural
07.06.19 | I was going to say Chapo not realizing everyone here already listens to it lol. Weird how I just got out of a list the other day with a bunch of right-wing nuts on this very site.
I tried a couple episodes of Cumtown and just didn't get it. About 15 minutes in on each and they were just waffling on random thoughts with no interesting discussion or humor. Someone point me in the right direction.
Citations Needed is the one podcast I'd highly recommend to anyone remotely interested in politics. About 80% of their episodes are incredibly articulate criticisms of American media and PR, although they don't always have the best guests.
Hardcore History and Lexicon Valley are two very different ones I like. Always interested in a good podcast about language.
Also, I've been a pretty regular Penn's Sunday School listeners since they started back in... 2011? Not sure how long they've been doing their podcast but I've listened to it more than the rest of these podcasts combined. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone here unless you already like Penn Jillette, but I'm along for the ride for however long they keep doing it. |
