It's an all-or-nothing deal. no dipping in and out; gotta hear it in full.
~JohnnyoftheWell
2The Dillinger Escape Plan
Calculating Infinity

I wish it was longer.
~JokineAugustus
3Stars of the Lid
And Their Refinement Of The Decline

The second disc has a few songs that clearly outweigh the others.
~Tb1114
4The Mothers of Invention
We're Only in It for the Money

The original 60s version has perfect production, but the record company censored multiple lyrics behind the band's back. The 80s remaster restores the censored lyrics, but ruins the production by making it sound too clean and 80s and Chad Wackerman dubbs over the original drums with his robotic technical shlock drumming. The 2000s remaster tries to fix this by marrying 60s production with the uncensored lyrics and gets it to be at it's best yet, but later on, some fan mixed it better, and it's embarrassing that some fan did a better job remastering it than professional mixers. Thank god I have this version.

Departure Songs

The songtitles are too long.
~budgie
6Radiohead
In Rainbows

House of Cards kinda kills the momentum and should've been replaced with one of the b-sides.
~ItsTheSquirrel
7Judas Priest
Nostradamus

It's underappreciated by the band's fanbase.
~synthmaster
8Lil Peep
crybaby

The fact that Radiohead's pretentious asses wouldn't clear the sample for "falling 4 me" even though it's one of the best songs on the tape/album.
~ian b
9Autechre
Draft 7.30

No Japanese bonus track (+ the fact that they didn't do a tour for the album).
~Avagantamos
10Enigma
MCMXC a.D.

That the extended edition, which ties the whole album together really well isn't the true version most people listen to.
~ChoccyPhilly

Welcome To Sky Valley

First Utterance

The album cover is beyond horrible, don't even know what it's supposed to be, is that a fucking weregoat?
~aydross121
13Nirvana
Nevermind

The fact that it has become so famous that it has come to be regarded as overrated.
~ReturnToRock
14Brand New
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me

It's become so popular on this site that now half the userbase hates it and claims it's overrated.

15Godspeed You! Black Emperor
F♯ A♯ ∞

Infinity fits a very specific mood and is so sprawling that it makes it difficult to sit and appreciate it as often as I'd like to.
~Maniac!
16Burzum
Filosofem

Maybe "Gebrechlichkeit II" could have been a little bit more different from the other one.
~garas
17Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

I cry everytime
~dedex
18Sigur Ros
Agætis byrjun

The second half of Olsen Olsen is pretty damn cheesy.
~Pangea
19Dazzle Vision
Kirari

It makes me too emotional and very much destroys me with the last 2 songs with how bittersweet they are.
~davezillaMP3
20Anberlin
Cities

"Hello Alone" just a worse version of "Paperthin Hymn" from their previous album.
~Project
21Hopesfall
Magnetic North

Jay doesn’t explain his lyrics to people and I’m pretty sure they hold the secrets of a lost alien civilization.
~Storm In A Teacup
22ISIS
Wavering Radiant

The Pliable Foe should have been on the album's tracklist. Second, the murky, dreamlike atmosphere ends up working against it, sort of. It aimlessly floats about and it's not until the last two tracks that we really get a coherent sense of direction.
~SgtShock
23The Wrens
The Meadowlands

"Such a Pretty Lie" should have been included in the tracklist.
~Lucman
24The Tallest Man on Earth
The Wild Hunt

The vocals are too loud.
~ColeT
25Pink Floyd
The Dark Side of the Moon

Money.
~TheSpaceMan
26Virgin Steele
The Marriage of Heaven and Hell: Part II

The silly side of power metal is very abundant, with the sword holding, rawr screams and Manowar-like appearance.
~TheHamburgerman
27Talk Talk
Laughing Stock

Part of me doesn't much care for the way 'Ascension Day' abruptly cuts out at the end and would've preferred a traditional fade out or somesuch.
~tectactoe
28Queens of the Stone Age
...Like Clockwork

"Fairweather Friends" isn't as essential as the rest of the album and is almost skippable if it weren't for the insane Elton John guest spot.
~neekafat
29Kayo Dot
Choirs of the Eye

It reaches such levels of extremity, that I have to be in a very specific mood to listen to it. Can't jam it with a headache, either.
~porcupinetheater
30Mouth Of The Architect
Quietly

Generation of Ghosts should have been the closer.
~Shuyin
31The Beatles
Revolver

Yellow Submarine.
~gnardude
32Judas Priest
Defenders of the Faith

It has a wonky ass running order. The second half needed a couple faster tracks, the tempo of the last 4 songs just gets slower and slower.
~rockarollacola
33Interpol
Turn on the Bright Lights

Obstacle 2 - It takes everything cool that they do on the rest of the record and makes it as clunky and awkward as possible. Total momentum-killer after Hands Away.
~Point1
34Meshuggah
Nothing (Re-release)

While I feel that the production job on this overall is much better than the original, it sometimes sounds like Jens is screaming into a tin can. Other than that, literally perfect.
~evilford
35Life of Agony
River Runs Red

Those talking tracks. Sure, on the first listen, they built the story culminating in the final track, but the step-mother on every subsequent listen is cruel and unusual.
~AlwaysSmooth
36Giant Squid
The Ichthyologist

The pacing gets a little languid in places because of the track order.
~SevenGill
37The Flaming Lips
Zaireeka

It's a massive pain in the ass to actually listen to it properly.
~Kompys2000
38Swans
The Glowing Man

It takes two hours.
~RichRamp
39King Crimson
In the Court of the Crimson King

The improvisational section of Moonchild is pretty bad compared to most of their actual live improvisations and the album is actually better without it (you can hear the abridged version on the Frame by Frame compilation).
