01.02.17 | Vektor's vocals have always been too much of a hurdle to get over for me, and I'm not the biggest Thrash fan to begin with. Probably my least favorite of the 4 Metal sub-genres I listen to tbh. |

01.02.17 | It really does. Even though Henbane was amazing too, Coven is a bit of a step up. Riffs are fucking fantastic, has the usual insane CdG vocal deliveries, and following along with the lyrics makes it even better. Never feels like it's over an hour and a half; it always seems like it's over in like 45 mins to an hour for me.
Also, Ruinous really needs more love too. Seems like an album nobody knows about. Ruinous consists of current and ex-members of Immolation, Incantation, Funebrarum, and Disma, and it shows. Doesn't bring anything new to the table, but fucking solid Old School Death Metal that any Death Metal fan needs to at least check out. |
