Christmas Movie Favorites

So I didn't see a Christmas movie list and I wanted to post my movie traditions. What traditions do you guys have? Movies? Music? etc...?
5David Newman
Jingle All the Way (Soundtrack)

Yeah Yeah it's ARNOLD! I know his acting was pretty lousy but this is just straight up nostalgia enjoyment for me. I also get such a laugh out of how terribad his acting was at points. I crack up every time he says "WHO TOLD YOU YOU COULD EAT MY COOKIES!?!" Honestly though, this movie isn't that bad. I still watch it every year and still find it pretty damn funny at parts. Plus this also has a really underrated soundtrack, there was some really good music behind some of this.
4Michael Convertino
The Santa Clause (Soundtrack)

I just watched this yesterday and this also was an excellent mix of adult humor and warming moments that are fitting for this time of year. Tim Allen was at his best here and although the graphics here were sub par the writing, story and music here were top notch!
3John Williams
Home Alone (Soundtrack)

Honestly how can I not include Home Alone here? In my opinion, this is the best comedy-filled Christmas Movie (I find A Christmas Story a bit too obnoxious at times to pick that one). This was back when Macaulay Culkin was an a cute kid and not a drug addled weirdo and I wish he didn't turn out so damn creepy. Anyhow, not only does this have hilarious moments, it also contains so of the most heartfelt tear-jerker moments (the scene where he gives the homeless woman the doves made you cry admit it!). My favorite moment, comedically speaking, would have the be the scene with the firecrackers. "Keep the change ya' filthy animal" makes me smile seriously every damn time.
2Burl Ives
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

BUTTT DO YOU RECALL??? The most famous Christmas classic movie of all? I know I have Nightmare Before Christmas first here, but I'd be lying if this wasn't right behind it as far as Christmas movies go. This was also a stop motion film sooooo far ahead of its time, this one came out in '64. Although it isn't as pristine and flawless as The Nightmare Before Christmas, The lack of perfection gives this so much charm. The classics Burl Ives provided, "A Holly Jolly Christmas", "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Silver Bells" are practically mandatory to hear this time of year whether you chose to hear it or not. I personally welcome these classics with open ears and I plan to carry my family's tradition to watch this every year during Christmas.
1Danny Elfman
The Nightmare Before Christmas

This movie is not only my all-time favorite, it also doubles as a holiday movie I can watch both during Christmas and Halloween. The Nightmare Before Christmas was way ahead of its time and remains a marvel in the history of stop motion filmography. This thing was released in October of '93! This alone blows me away as it holds water as looking marvelous and pristine as any other film like it today. Henry Selick made his direction debut here and man he delivered on every faucet possible. Luckily, he was administered the help of Danny Elfman to give this thing the most grandiose music to match with his expert showcasing of stop motion creation. My favorite song this time year will always be "What's This?" as its filled with all the best sentiments of Christmas: excitement, wonder, and merry thoughts. This movie will always hold a special place in my life.
p.s. I also have a full sleeve on my left arm! https://ibb.co/kkccZm
