Radiohead Ranked

i spent the last week or so going through Radiohead's discography for the first time. Felt like making a worst to best list of the album. It's probably similar to many other rankings. #1 won't turn any heads, but I just felt like making it.
9Radiohead
The King of Limbs

The King of Limbs is not a bad album. But after going through the bulk of Radiohead's catalog, the album felt sluggish and boring. On its own, it works terrifically. However, in the bigger picture, it falls flat compared to the other albums Radiohead has under its belt.
8Radiohead
Pablo Honey

This is another case of an album that could be considered as pretty good if only it wasn't made by Radiohead. I can appreciate Pablo Honey more than The King of Limbs however. Coming from a punk and emo background, I enjoyed the harsher, grungier sound of the album. "Creep" is also a popular favourite, it's a really catchy tune. The second half does fall extremely flat however.
7Radiohead
Hail to the Thief

This is where the rankings start to get close. After Kid A and Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief was the first album from Radiohead to (kinda) return to conventional rock. The melodies are great, the vocals are amazing and the lyrics are well-written. The reason this isn't ranked higher is because I feel like this album has some unnecessary filler that bog down the entire experience.
6Radiohead
In Rainbows

In Rainbows is seductive, in tone, lyrics, and vocals. The flow is beautiful on the album and the instrumentation is tight. Has none of the filler problems Hail to the Thief had.
5Radiohead
The Bends

The Bends was where Radiohead began their streak of great albums. This is probably the most the band has ever rocked out and sound the most energetic on (besides OK Computer).
4Radiohead
Kid A

Alien. Atmospheric. Everything in its Right Place. The songs here are beautiful in the way they're performed and create such a wonderful feeling of, well...wonder.
3Radiohead
Amnesiac

Looks like Kid A. Feels like Kid A. Sounds like Kid A. But it's different from Kid A. There's a different feeling coming across. The individual songs have more shining moments compared to the album-wide atmosphere of Kid A. It's a different take on Kid A that I like more over Kid A.
2Radiohead
A Moon Shaped Pool

Kid A/Amnesiac atmosphere with organic, acoustic timbres? Yes please. The album is beautifully written and performed. Thom Yorke's croon serenades throughout the album and complements the soft sound perfectly.
1Radiohead
OK Computer

OK Computer is a stroke of absolute brilliance. This ranking won't surprise many, but it's perfect in my book. From Airbag to Exit Music to The Tourist, there are no bad songs on this album. Everything here is golden.
