12.18.22 | I'm on track 8 right now. Where is dude from? I can definitely dig this. Part of Me is my favorite track so far and definitely something I'll return to. Feel like the album really started hitting it's stride when that song came on |

12.18.22 | he’s from sacramento. he’s also keak da sneak’s son
glad you’re enjoying it! i’m digging it really hard i’m so proud of him. ever since he dropped his mixtapes Second Half back in 2019 i’ve been saying he’s gonna go places and this is just confirmation. he’s come so far and with some more focus is gonna be crazy. some of the ideas here should have been more fleshed out but man if it isnt exciting to see where he’s gonna go |

12.18.22 | Oh wow I really was not expecting to hear that he's Keak's son! I was happy to see Keak's feature here when I first pulled this up on Apple to listen. This is a pretty damn solid modern rap album front to back though and did a good job holding my attention with the 50 minute runtime which is rare for newer albums in the genre of this style to be able to run that long and not drag quite a bit for me. The last half here really shined for me on first listen. Definitely gonna come back to it over the next week and see how it holds up for me and there's at least a few tracks I'm just going to throw in rotation. Also agree on the fact that some ideas could have been fleshed out more but those moments weren't super glaring so it works |

12.18.22 | $elfish or Selfless is a highlight for me and i really wish it was longer. i told him he’s gotta let me get on the remix lmao it goes so hard especially in the car. feel the pain is really great too. i wish he was more present on the album too cause i constantly want to hear his rapping but i guess that’s also a really good thing at the same time that i actively want to hear him more.
i’m super glad you enjoyed it cause i’m trying to show it to everyone even my family members. i’m so enthusiastic about him i’m glad i’m not the only one that thinks it a good. it’s more than just verse chorus verse chorus song after song there’s so many different beat switches and spoken word interludes and instrumental breaks, transitions between songs. it’s got so much more than the dog shit other people i know putting out i’m so happy about it. i’m glad he threw in some more west coast moments too like on the song with keak but i like the sound he goes for as well. |

12.19.22 | Played this for one of my friends today too and he dug it also so hopefully he'll play it for some of his people too. Hope your friend blows up man. Its always good to see someone supporting their friends/local artists in general. I try to do the same for artists from my area also and there's no shortage because we have a massive scene here in KC for rap especially but also have a really big metal scene and some solid punk as well.
If you get a chance you should check out some recent projects from Eaz G! He's living in KC and I've been following his stuff closely since I first talked to him in 2015. Dude has an insanely distinct voice that is perfect for his style of rap. I feel like he could easily blow up but sadly we have a weird thing going on in the Kansas City rap scene where the local artist would rather hate than support each other. Hopefully everyone gets past that mindset because there's an immense amount of talent here fr. A lot of people just think of Tech N9ne when the city comes up but we've got a style that goes a whole lot deeper than that and I feel like if people would unite we could really get a big movement going. SleazyWorld Gorecently has blown up pretty big and even collabed with Lil Baby and I'm hoping that will turn into a situation where some other rappers from here get some shine too |
